Bio: David is the product of a Christian household, older and younger siblings, an unfortunately unpopular childhood, but the transformation of a loving God. Raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, he bleeds RED - other than the fact that he is human.
In college, he worked to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science but had an undeniable calling towards full-time youth ministry. God had always been at work to use and prepare him for current and future ministry. David was equipped with Biblical knowledge and personal discipline as he attended the Kanakuk Institute with his wife, Lauren.
His vision is to lead prepared youth into spiritual warfare alongside one another, reaching a lost world for the sake of the living Gospel. This goal will be met by joyfully, prayerfully, and intentionally building trustworthy relationships with youth and their parents/guardians. Through accountable discipleship and scripture study, protected young lives will be molded to look more like the image of Christ. As Christians, we are all called to purposeful evangelism, covered in the full Armor of God.

Bio: Xuan (which is said like swan, like the bird) is a proud native of Arkansas -- being raised in Bentonville & graduating from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville (WOO PIG SOOIE!). While in high school & college, she worked at several summer camps (Camp Barnabas, Camp War Eagle, & K-Seven) that fueled her passion for youth & discipleship.
She has a journalism degree (with a concentration in Advertising & Public Relations) but decided to pursue full-time ministry while being equipped with a solid foundation of faith at the Kanakuk Institute. She believes the Institute was a jumping-off point to figuring out who the Lord really is, who she was in Him, & how to live in light of that truth.
She desires to walk alongside with youth & college-aged women, conducting herself in a manner worthy of the Gospel & leading them to the Cross moment by moment. She is thankful for the opportunity to start her first year of K-Life in Springfield.
Outside of the K-world, she enjoys photography, traveling, crafting, music, reading, food, & laughter.
